** Shares of construction equipment maker Caterpillar CAT.N drop 2%, weighed down by concerns over AI
** CAT stock drops for a fourth consecutive session and is down nearly a third from its all-time high in late June
** CAT's businesses have reaped a windfall from rapid US data center buildout, boosting demand for its power generation, backup power and construction equipment
** Brian Langenberg, founder of industrial research firm Langenberg & Co, says CAT came under pressure after quantum computing and AI stocks came under heavy sell pressure
** CAT, other industrial stocks exposed to data centers have been tracking volatility in the broader AI trade - Morgan Stanley analyst Angel Castillo 
** CAT's share move mirrors that of several other firms including CoreWeave CRWV.O, Oracle ORCL.N, Dell DELL.N and Nebius NBIS.O amid broader AI-linked volatility
** CRWV shares plunge more than 15% as debt and cash-flow concerns added to investor jitters over the AI boom
** Including session's move, stock up 27.4% YTD
